The fifth race in the Austrian town of Limberg near Vienna went not without drama. After a somewhat uncomfortable first day with lots of rain and wind, the BFS team was unlucky already from the second of a total of twelve sections. They had to turn around many tree roots, but unfortunately got stuck with one of the bumpers and were retrieved with the excavator. That led to a high penalty - a total of half of all penalty points were gained in this run.
For now, they had fallen back to the last place.
But they quickly overcome the mishap and started a furious recovery. From section to section, everything went better and better, until they could gain the meritorious reward on the second day: 2nd place in Limberg at a very slight distance from the 1st place! In the overall table, they are still in fourth place and are confident on abilities to make the leap to the podium in Straßberg.
